        Who are the Friends?      
Friends of the Library are library supporters who strengthen community ties by sharing a passion for books and learning, taking on fundraising efforts, assisting with programs and events, and sponsoring special programs for children.

      What do the Friends do?
The funds raised by Friends are used to provide programs, services, and materials that Kaufman County Library is unable to provide. The Friends sponsor two major fundraisers each year: a Book and Author Luncheon in the fall; and a Book Sale in the spring.

      How do I join the Friends?
 Contact the Kaufman County Library for a membership form.  Membership dues are paid yearly at the levels listed below:

Senior Member (65 yrs) $5.00                                 Full Time Student  $5.00

 Regular Member $10.00                                         Family (3 or more) $25.00 

Clubs & Organizations $25.00                                Sustaining Member $50.00

Sponsor Members $100 or more                             Life Member $500 or more
