The Lone Star Reading List

The Texas Library Association (TLA) began the Lone Star Reading List in 1990 as a two-year pilot program to encourage reading for middle school students.  This list represents a wide variety of reading subjects and tastes.  The books are chosen by a committee of school and public librarians appointed by TLA's Young Adult Round Table.
